Cocoa Beach Family Pictures

On Tuesday of this week, we had a number of family pictures taken on the beach. It was very hot even at 8:30 in the morning, so the session didn’t last too long with the kids getting antsy, but we did get a few good shots.

Cocoa Beach – Update 3

Well, we just made it back to OH this afternoon. Although we had a great time, it feels good to be back. I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. The last few days of Cocoa were filled with golf, pool, beach and more sun. On Thursday, the fam split and everyone did there own thing. Gary went to Ft. Lauderdale to visit his friend, Kristin/Jason, the kids & Grandma went to Disney, Jarod and I played golf and Katie & Kari caught some sun.

Bailee was extremely excited to see us and Logan also seemed to miss Bailee. Time to unpack. I have a tee time at 3:00…

Cocoa Beach – Update 2

Yesterday, we enjoyed another day playing in the sun. Logan enjoyed sitting on the beach and playing with the sand. He was unsure of the ocean, but we think that is because the water is much cooler than he is used to. We spent the majority of the day in the pool.

The fam went to dinner at Sunset Grill on the banana river. It’s a tradition that we visit this establishment each time we’re down here. The views are great and you can pretty much guarantee dolphin viewings. We saw a few of them last night. Dinner was good, although it was extremely hot eating outside on the porch. The evening was topped off with a visit to the DQ for a couple blizards. Yummmmm….

This morning (Tuesday), we have arranged for a photographer to take a family pic on the beach. It should be interesting, considering we have 3 babies, 3 kids and it’s supposed to be a record heat day – around 97. After that, we plan to head to the beach to boogie board, then we’ll end up at the pool before lunch. This afternoon we may head back to Ron Jon’s since we didn’t have a chance to spend much time there on Sunday. Dinner will be at Rusty’s down by the marina, another traditional dinner stop. We usually get there in time to see the boats come in for for the day with there catches.

That’s all for now.

Cocoa Beach – Update 1

We arrived in Cocoa beach on Saturday afternoon after a long day of travel. Logan flew for the first time and did really well until the last 30 minutes of the flight as we waited for a gate to open. The hot Florida sun welcomed us with open arms with temperatures in the mid-90’s and very humid. All the family made it safely and we even got a swim in before dark.

Yesterday, we spent the morning walking the beach and visited the pier where the kids got to watch people surf and fish. After the girls returned from the grocery, we headed to the pool where Logan splashed away. He absolutely LOVES the pool. Kari, Logan and I headed to Ron Jon’s in the afternoon to get out of the sun for a bit before heading to Olive Garden for dinner with the fam.

This morning we got up early and watched the sun rise. We got a lot of great pictures and Logan learned a little about this stuff called sand. After Logan wakes up from his nap, we plan to head out to the beach so he can play a bit.

Cheers!

Tampa Golf Trip

Here are a few pics from the annual golf trip. We stayed in Clearwater Beach for four days playing golf each day, catching the rays, eating great food, and hanging with the guys. Dr. Konold was kind enough to let us play at the Belleair Country Club which consists of 36 holes of Donald Ross designs. It’s a very challenging course and we had a great time playing.
